Indonesian Week’s Coming!

In the first week back after the Easter holidays, BSJ will be celebrating Indonesian Week.

Staff will be wearing batik every day, and students will be invited to do the same, or to don traditional Indonesian dress, on the Friday. A special Indonesian menu will be served in our cafeterias, and the Student Councils will run traditional games during two lunchtimes.

On the Wednesday, we are running a special programme for older Primary students and their younger Secondary peers, on the theme of "Wonderful Indonesia", and all teachers will incorporate Indonesia-focused learning in many of their lessons.

Finally, in keeping with annual tradition, a Indonesian dance group comprising members of staff who have been practicing for months will perform in our Friday assemblies. Semoga berhasil!
