Lord of the Flies
During this week's two performances of Lord of the Flies, audiences saw what happens when a group of school boys crash on a desert island without any adult supervision.
At first, they try to have rules and elect Ralph as their leader, but it soon becomes clear that they have different priorities. Jack is only interested in hunting pigs initially, but his desire to kill soon takes over...
The cast of this BSJ production was made up of 23 energetic boys from Years Four, Six, Seven, Eight and Nine. Supporting them with make-up were three students and Ms Fisher backstage.
Director Ms Rachel Caine said, "I have loved the book of Lord of the Flies by William Golding since I was at school and it is a story I have always wanted to direct and stage. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with the cast and crew, and to have so many boys who are talented and passionate about Drama."
