BSJ students receive offers from the world’s top Universities.

It has been an outstanding year for University offers made to British School Jakarta (BSJ) Year 13 graduating students.

The vast majority of BSJ Year 13 students have been offered a place to study in a ‘World Top 100 University 2019’ as published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an internationally recognised Higher Education publication.

Oxford University, Yale – NUS, University of California Berkeley, University of California Los Angeles, Imperial College London, UCL, The University of Edinburgh, London School of Economics, Cornell, University of Michigan, The University of Hong Kong and University of Toronto are some of the top 40 world-renowned universities to have offered places to BSJ final year students, providing them with the opportunity to study at their world-class research institutions, offering expertise and amazing facilities.

Six students have been offered significant scholarships from - Oxford University, the University of Dundee, New York University – Shanghai, Royal Holloway University of London and Emory University in the US.

The  Reach Oxford Scholarship is to study Law at Oxford. Only 2 or 3 of these are awarded each year by the Colleges that offer the scholarship so this is a tremendous achievement for our student as the application and competition for an award is exceptionally competitive. The Excellence Scholarship at Royal Holloway is one of only 12 offered, hence is also a tremendous achievement for the student and British School Jakarta.

The elite universities, such as The Russell Group Universities in the UK, have strong links to industry and business. We are most proud to announce that many BSJ students have gained conditional acceptances from this group of universities, with the highest numbers of offers highlighted below.
