Solving Jakarta’s Traffic Problem

In the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, all science students must participate in the Group 4 Project, an interdisciplinary activity in which they analyse a common topic or problem. It is a collaborative experience and the emphasis is on process, rather than product.

This year, Year 12 students from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Design Technology were challenged to find an answer to Jakarta's notorious traffic problem. Each group could use any existing technology to do this onerous task. The end product was a video presentation, which will be scored by the Science faculty once complete.
