Our upcoming Term 3 Concert, Hope: Shining Together, will take place at the BSJ World Theatre on Monday, 13 April 2026, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This special event celebrates the theme of hope and how our community can shine together through music and the arts. Featuring 14 performances from primary and secondary students across Years 3–13, the concert brings together musicians from across the school in a vibrant programme that highlights collaboration, creativity, and the joy of performing.

The concert will showcase a wide range of ensembles and musical styles, including Glee Club, Soul Band, VivaVoce (Monday and Friday groups), Percussion Ensemble, String Ensemble, Primary FOBISIA Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Windband, Primary Clarinet Ensemble, Year 5 Angklung, Primary Choir, and Orchestra, along with a special Year 3–4 show promotion performance. Each group has been working hard in rehearsals to prepare music that reflects the spirit of the concert’s theme, and the afternoon promises to celebrate the dedication and talent of our young musicians.

This event also highlights collaboration across the arts at BSJ. Year 11 Digital Imagery students are supporting the concert by creating the visual slides, posters, and video footage that will accompany the performances, while four students from Years 10 and 11 will serve as our Masters of Ceremony for the evening. In addition, the foyer will feature a Photography and Arts Exhibition, allowing the audience to experience the creativity of our wider arts community.

The concert will be presented in two parts, with an intermission where the audience can enjoy food and drinks provided by the PCA, explore the Photography and Arts Exhibition, and listen to additional music performances in the foyer. We warmly invite families to join us for this inspiring afternoon as our students come together to share their music and celebrate the theme of Hope: Shining Together.
