Secondary students from British School Jakarta delivered a powerful and deeply engaging performance of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible at the Raffles Theatre on Thursday and Friday, 7–8 May 2026, captivating audiences of around 150 attendees each evening.

BSJ hosted a parent workshop, Inspiring Mini-Authors, exploring how storytelling and creativity help children build confidence, imagination, and essential life skills.

Perceptions of wellbeing from the past had been fragile and misunderstood. Common in Indonesia, stigma around mental health was present, and previous misconceptions had left scars. With renewed and clear intention, BSJ has set a deliberate and ambitious vision to not only focus on academics but to ensure the definition of success also means thriving students. 

At British School Jakarta (BSJ), we believe that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom. Our students are encouraged to lead with empathy, take initiative, and make a positive difference in the world around them.
