BSJ Sports Programme
The BSJ Sports Programme is enhanced with four Academy Sports: Football, Swimming, Tennis, and Gymnastics, which provide student-athletes with specialist coaching, structured development pathways, and opportunities to pursue excellence in their chosen discipline.
Complementing these academies is a broad programme featuring sports such as Athletics, Basketball, Rugby, Touch, Softball, Volleyball, and many others. This diverse offering ensures that students of all interests and abilities have the opportunity to participate, develop new skills, compete, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. Through expert coaching, outstanding facilities, and a wide range of competitive and recreational opportunities, students are encouraged to grow as athletes, teammates, and individuals.
As an active member of the local JAAC conference and the two prestigious international sporting conferences, FOBISIA and SEASAC. Each conference provides BSJ students with regular opportunities to represent the school, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories through sport.
Sport Academies
At British School Jakarta (BSJ) our Academy programmes are tailored to students' skills and abilities under the expert guidance of lead coaches. Coaches challenge students during each session, aligning their development with the school's mission of Head, Heart, Self, and System.

Structured progression. Technical precision. Confident performance.
Our Gymnastics squads follow Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) pathways.
