Welcome to BSJ Campus Reopening Resource Centre.
Guided by the recommendations from the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) and Ministry of Health, the British School Jakarta COVID-19 Taskforce has put in place multiple safeguards to enable a safe reopening of our beloved Campus. Since the first term of Academic Year 2020/2021, British School Jakarta (BSJ) has been in constant liaison with the MoEC Banten Province and Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) in an open and positive dialogue about reopening the campus for students. After more than 11 inspection visits we have had from Banten Province and the Tangsel COVID Taskforce, our school is declared as “beyond ready”.
During March-June 2021, BSJ has successfully implemented a hybrid learning model simulation programme for both Primary and Secondary students. Along with the health and safety protocols that have been tested and proven during the hybrid learning simulation programme, we are now ready to implement the hybrid learning model once again starting on 6 September 2021.
Our protocols and procedures in creating a safe and successful reopening for Academic Year 2021-2022 are as follows:
- All BSJ staff who will be on campus have had completed the 2 doses of vaccinations for COVID-19 or have proven medical exemption, with regular testing as outlined by government regulations in compliance with schools reopening guidelines. In addition, we will continue to have Rapid Antigen Tests every two weeks for our staff on campus as another layer of health check;
- All students who wish to come to campus are required to have Rapid Antigen Tests every two weeks (both Primary and Secondary students);
Students and staff that enter BSJ Campus are obligated to follow the protocols explained in the following resources.
