Model United Nations
BSJ regards the Model United Nations Activity as a key part in making an international education so special. Students take on the role of member states of the UN and debate crucial topics in international relations, diplomacy and other aspects of current affairs pertaining to the United Nations.
Playing the role of a diplomat representing a nation or NGO in one of the various committees of the United Nations, such as the Security Council or the General Assembly is a superb way of developing both public speaking and critical thinking skills. It is also an excellent way of broadening your education and exposing yourself to some of the most crucial current issues on the global agenda today.
BSJ MUN participates actively in both local and international MUN conferences. This happens locally via the JAAC conference which normally organises two events per academic year and internationally through both FOBISIA and SEASAC who have international events.
