  • Weekly Parent Workshops

  • Entry and Exit Points

  • Celebrations of Learning

  • Informal ‘coffee and cake’ gatherings

  • Parent Teacher Association (PTA) events and meetings

  • Reading volunteers

  • Birthday baking (Key Stage 1)

  • IPC project support (Key Stage 1 and 2)

  • Class assemblies

Each Primary class has a ‘Parent Liaison’ who helps parents to become fully engaged in the BSJ community. They keep parents updated with general class routines, community events, resources and volunteering opportunities.

The weekly Primary Bulletin is shared with parents each Friday. The Bulletin has information about things that have happened in school that week, key notices and dates, as well as details of upcoming events.
