At British School Jakarta, we recognize that every student has a unique learning style, and some may require additional support to overcome challenges. Our faculty members are experienced in implementing differentiated learning strategies, ensuring that all students have access to the best possible education.
Our Learning Diversity (LD) team, which includes Teacher Specialists and Learning Support Assistants in both Primary and Secondary School, is dedicated to supporting students with learning differences. Teachers may refer students to the team, who then assess their needs and determine the best course of action. This may involve internal or external assessments to identify specific learning needs, followed by a personalized support programme. Depending on the student’s requirements, support is provided through either a pull-out (withdrawal) or push-in (in-class) model.
