Our upcoming event is the school production of Oliver!, one of the most beloved musicals of all time. This classic story, full of memorable characters and songs, provides a fantastic platform for our students to shine. With opportunities for a large cast across a wide age range, it allows so many young performers to be involved and share their talents on stage.

It’s particularly exciting because it offers something different from our more modern or futuristic productions of recent years. Instead, students have the chance to explore a completely different historical era, stepping into Victorian London and discovering the rich world of Dickens’ storytelling. The process has been both challenging and rewarding for them—learning to sing, act, and move in a style that is “old-school” but timeless.

To give as many students as possible the opportunity to perform, we have triple-cast the show. This means that across the run of performances, different groups of students will take on the leading and supporting roles—an incredible chance for more children to step into the spotlight and experience the thrill of live theatre.

You can expect rousing ensemble numbers, heartfelt solos, energetic choreography, and powerful scenes that capture the spirit of Dickens’ world.
